BLUF MAIN TOPIC: The Smith Family. Remnant. America Under Siege. Three Tracks. One Mission.

Tonight is a transition episode. The Long War series is over. Starting this weekend and into next week, SDN launches two new tracks running simultaneously - and the Smith family is at the center of both. Here is how it works. Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM ET, Survival Dispatch: REMNANT drops its first episode on Substack - a cinematic audio podcast narrated by me, following Mark, Sarah, Jake, Emily, and Casey through a nuclear collapse scenario set in Canton, Georgia. Episode 1 is called “The Day the Sky Burned.” It is grounded in real doctrine, real threat geometry, and real decisions under pressure. Then starting Monday, the SDN podcast launches America Under Siege - a 12-arc, 96-episode series mapping a cascading national collapse from EMP to biological threat. In every episode of America Under Siege, the Smith family will appear as the human example of how that arc’s threat actually hits a normal American household. Two formats. One family. One integrated mission. Tonight you get the full picture.

MAIN TOPIC

Here is the structure of what launches this weekend and why it matters practically.

Survival Dispatch: REMNANT - Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 PM ET

REMNANT is a cinematic audio podcast, narrated by me, releasing every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM ET. Paid subscribers get early access on Substack. The first episode - “The Day the Sky Burned” - drops tomorrow, April 25th.

It opens at 6:30 AM on a Tuesday in Canton, Georgia. Mark Smith - banker, VP at a regional Atlanta firm, analytical and controlled - is making coffee when the Dow futures show negative nine percent pre-market and NATO ambassadors have been recalled from Moscow overnight. Sarah - registered nurse, eight years in emergency and surgical medicine - has been reading the same alerts and has already made the call in her head before Mark has finished his first cup. By 6:51 AM the emergency alert hits all four phones in the house simultaneously. By 7:00 AM the sky to the south, in the direction of downtown Atlanta, flashes white.

What follows is not action-movie survival. It is a family executing - or failing to execute - under the worst pressure imaginable. Sarah had spent two years quietly building out a basement shelter, a 27-item printed protocol, water stores, a trauma kit, extra ammunition in the gun safe. Mark had made jokes about it. By the time the radio confirms detonations at Washington, Norfolk, San Diego, Offutt, Whiteman, Barksdale, Dobbins, Redstone, and Oak Ridge - Mark is holding a list his wife wrote for the end of the world and understanding for the first time how little of his preparation she was able to delegate to him.

Episode 1 ends at 7:59 PM. Something is breathing on the other side of the basement door. It tells them it can hear the dog. It says it is not coming down. Then it says: “Not tonight.” That is where the first episode leaves you.

America Under Siege - Starts Monday on SDN

America Under Siege is the new SDN podcast series - 12 arcs, 8 episodes each, 96 episodes total - mapping a cascading national collapse from the first shock all the way through to a world where collapse is no longer an event. It is the environment.

The 12 arcs in sequence: EMP Attack. Cyber Attack. Coordinated Terror Attacks. Grid Sabotage. Civil Unrest. Economic Collapse. Pandemic Second Wave. Supply Chain Collapse. Nuclear Event. Mega Natural Disaster. Winter Collapse. Chemical and Biological Threat. Each arc layers onto the damage of the one before it. Nothing recovers. Nothing resets. Each phase compounds what came before.

In every episode of America Under Siege, the Smith family - Mark, Sarah, Jake, Emily, and Casey in Canton, Georgia, 40 miles north of Atlanta - will be the human lens on the threat. Arc 1 is an EMP. What does an EMP mean to a VP at a downtown Atlanta bank who commutes I-575 every morning and has a car with a modern ECU? What does it mean to a surgical floor nurse whose hospital runs on powered equipment and digital records? What does it mean to a seventeen-year-old at Cherokee High whose entire communication infrastructure just went dark? The Smith family makes the abstract concrete. They are not operators. They are not preppers. They are the average American household, and what happens to them is what would happen to yours.

The Smith family is not a fictional device for entertainment. They are a pressure test. Every decision they face is a decision you should already have an answer to.
