The world is not getting safer. It is reverting to the oldest and most brutal form of warfare known to mankind, and if you cannot see it, you are not paying attention. Religious wars are back in full force. Ancient hatreds rooted in faith, identity, and tribal loyalty are overriding every political calculation and economic incentive on the planet right now. This is not fringe extremism lurking on the margins. This is civilization-scale religious warfare reshaping borders, driving mass migration, and fueling insurgencies that are creeping ever closer to the American homeland. The Islamic State and its affiliates are resurging across Africa, Central Asia, and the West. ISIS-inspired plots were disrupted on American soil just weeks ago. Christians are being slaughtered by the thousands in Nigeria, and 388 million believers worldwide now face active persecution. Our enemies understand spiritual war. They believe in it. They fight and die for it. Meanwhile, Western leaders have abandoned the very faith and civilizational identity that built everything we have. They cannot comprehend an enemy driven by religious conviction because they themselves believe in nothing worth defending. That disconnect is a death sentence if we do not wake up, stand up, and prepare for what is already unfolding.

If religious warfare is the defining threat of this era - and the evidence screams that it is - then you as an individual, a family leader, and a community builder need to get serious about practical preparedness right now. This is not a theoretical exercise. This is operational reality.
First, build your intelligence awareness. You need to understand the threat landscape in your region. Know where vulnerable soft targets are in your area, houses of worship, stadiums, transit hubs, shopping centers, and major event venues. The 2026 Homeland Security Threat Assessment specifically warns that high-profile gatherings like the FIFA World Cup, America’s 250th anniversary celebrations, and religious holidays are prime targets for both foreign-inspired and homegrown attackers. Stay plugged into threat reporting from credible sources and stop relying on legacy media to tell you when danger is close.
Second, harden your personal security posture. Get trained on your concealed carry if you have not already. Keep a trauma kit in your vehicle and know how to use it. Develop rally points and emergency communication plans with your family that do not depend on cell networks. If the grid goes down or a coordinated attack disrupts communications across multiple cities, you need a way to contact your people. Ham radio is not optional anymore for the serious prepper, it is essential.
Third, strengthen your local community network. The federal government cannot protect you in a multi-city coordinated attack scenario. Period. Response times will be overwhelmed instantly. Your neighborhood, your church, your local group of like-minded men and women willing to stand together - that is your first line of defense. Start organizing now. Identify who in your community has medical training, who has security experience, who has communication capability. Build those relationships before the crisis hits.
Fourth, get your spiritual house in order. This is a spiritual war at its core and always has been. The enemy fights with a religious conviction that most Westerners cannot even comprehend because we have let secularism hollow out our faith. Get back in the Word. Get your family in church. Pray like your life depends on it, because it very well might. The early church thrived under persecution because they were spiritually prepared. We need that same iron in our spines.
Fifth, establish a 30-day minimum supply baseline. Food, water, medical supplies, ammunition, fuel, and essential documents should all be staged and ready. In a coordinated attack scenario affecting 25 or more cities simultaneously, supply chains will collapse within hours. If you are not already stocked, you are already behind.
