Finally, remember that terrorist objectives are fundamentally psychological. They seek to provoke fear, rage, and ultimately, societal breakdown. By maintaining both vigilance and unity across political lines when facing these threats, everyday Americans deny terrorists their primary strategic objective. Our greatest defense isn’t found in government agencies but in communities that refuse to fracture under pressure, preserving the constitutional republic our enemies seek to destroy.
