STAY AHEAD OF WHAT’S COMING
BLUF
On September 15 the Justice Department charged five men working for Russian intelligence. In late August two of them paid a Venezuelan living here about $1,500 to film a Kremlin critic’s home near Washington from his car. Then they offered him $40,000 to kill the man.
The read here is that this is not Europe’s shadow war crossing the ocean. This is Russia doing what Iran and the cartels already do, renting a local with a car and a debt. When he said no to the killing, they said they had people in Mexico.
Do nothing and the next recruit is a kid in your town with a phone, rent due and a message offering $1,500 to film a house.
INSIDE TONIGHT’S FULL SITREP
Tonight Guardians get the three moves that keep a foreign service from renting someone in your family or your street.
Teach the offer to every teenager in your house this week.
Take your home off the internet map before somebody films it.
Start a street log for the slow car, and know where it goes.
A family that knows what the $1,500 message looks like hangs up. A family that doesn’t finds out from an FBI agent at the door.
The three moves are below the paywall for Guardians.
WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND
The instructions were plain. Airplane mode, start recording before the neighborhood, slow as you pass the house, delete the messages after. The killing was called construction, the surveillance measuring a plot of land. All five are at large, so the hiring shop is still open. That’s confirmed. Whether the Venezuelan was working with the FBI is not.
Iran ran the shop first. The IRGC offered a Russian mob boss $500,000 for Masih Alinejad, and the man they sent sat outside her Brooklyn home with an AK-47. The cartels run it on TikTok, and one Arizona county caught over a hundred juveniles smuggling in eighteen months. One method: a local face, a small first job, a bigger one after.
The X is the American who takes a $1,500 job to film a house and finds out he now works for a foreign intelligence service that has his name.
EARLY WARNING INDICATORS
A small paid job that starts with airplane mode. Somebody in your circle is offered cash to photograph an address or drop a package, told to kill location and delete the chat. One odd gig is a scam. Airplane mode before the drive is tradecraft, and the next job is the crime.
Your county name in a federal complaint. A DOJ release that puts a scout or a surveillance run in your state. Washington and Brooklyn are on the list now. When your county appears, the network has a man who knows the roads, and you start the log that week.
The buyer speaks Spanish and the target is Russian. The recruiters here were Cuban and Venezuelan, working Spanish-speaking men, on a Russian target. When the language of the offer does not match the flag behind it, the man hired is disposable, and the man hiring plans to be gone before the arrest.
Tonight’s three moves make your family the household that hangs up, and your street the one the scout cannot film clean.
Tonight at midnight the $63.96 Guardian year goes back to $79.95. This SITREP every weeknight, fully sourced.

PRACTICAL TIPS | MAIN TOPIC…
The shop hires the broke and untrained, so the moves are about who gets the message.
Teach the offer to every teenager in your house this week. Read them the DOJ instructions out loud: airplane mode, record, delete. The first job pays $200 to $1,500, the second is a felony or a murder. House rule: any cash offer by DM gets shown to you that night.
Take your home off the internet map before somebody films it. The scout got the address from his handler. Pull your name off the people-search sites, blur the house on the map services, stop posting the front of the house. An afternoon, no money, and the handler’s file gets thinner.
Start a street log for the slow car, and know where it goes. A notebook by the window: plate, color, time, direction for any car that slows twice. Share it with two neighbors. The recruit was told to slow as he passed. A plate written down on the first pass is the evidence nobody planned on.
Nesa’s Hemp is a raw, plant-derived CBDa extract - not a synthetic cannabinoid product. The November 12, 2026 federal change does not prohibit this product.
WHAT’S COMING
Russia, Iran and the cartels ride the same dependency: an American with a phone who needs money more than he fears the second job. The vulnerability is that the offer arrives in a DM and looks like a gig. [NEXT EPISODE BRIDGE: CHRIS FILLS] The watchman guards the gate, and the gate now is a teenager’s phone. Watch this week for a DOJ release naming a scout in your state: that is the shop opening a branch.
See it before you live it.
