Branding White Conservative Christian men as violent is woke hate speech

BLUF: John Pavlovitz [https://x.com/johnpavlovitz & https://substack.com/@johnpavlovitz] just claimed that “White, cisgender, heterosexual Conservative Christian men are the single most dangerous and violent group in this nation.” Let’s be clear: that isn’t “prophetic truth-telling.” It’s rank prejudice.

1] BIGOTRY WEARING A HALO

If a Conservative pastor said the same thing about LGBTQ activists, atheists, or progressives, they’d be canceled immediately. But in our cultural climate, it’s open season on Christian men. Hate is still hate, even when it’s cloaked in pious language.

2] DATA DOESN’T LIE

The FBI and DOJ’s own crime statistics refute this nonsense:

The majority of violent crime is committed by gangs, drug cartels, and repeat offenders, not by Bible-believing dads in rural America.

Mass shooters overwhelmingly come from broken homes with no fathers present, not intact Christian families.

The men John slanders are far more likely to stop violence than cause it.

3] THE BACKBONE OF AMERICA

Christian men serve as soldiers, police officers, EMTs and firefighters. We build businesses, coach Little League, and keep food on the table. We are not the people tearing down our country. In fact, we’re the ones holding it together.

4] WHY THIS RHETORIC IS DANGEROUS

Demonizing a group of people because of their race, sex, faith, or political beliefs is the oldest tactic of authoritarianism. It’s meant to silence, marginalize and scapegoat. Ironically, Pavlovitz is guilty of the very “hate” he pretends to fight.

FINAL WORD

Christian men aren’t America’s biggest threat, we’re the reason America hasn’t collapsed already. We don’t need to apologize for loving God, guns, and country. We don’t need to apologize for being masculine, and we definitely don’t need a lecture on “violence” from a bitter preacher who’s abandoned truth for clicks.

I will go ahead and predict right now that if John comes across this post he will immediately launch ad-hominem attacks against me, plus my company and podcast, because that’s all he has. There is less than zero evidence to support his hateful position.
