My thoughts have kinda stayed the same…. Pistol gets me to my rifle. At night, I have a 9 round semi auto shotgun next to the bed along with my sidearm. Yep… I have a rifle too. Rifle is suppressed, shotgun is not. Clear the area with the 12, that should give me time to grab the rifle. I like the ZIPPER technique… groin, chest, head. But I live in a 28 foot trailer…. At work, sidearm is always with me, my rifle is usually not that far away no matter where I am inside my shop. (Multiple rifles stashed) I just hope… that if someone decides to try and Rob me, I have time to react. Not much I can do about someone 200 yards away with a hunting rifle.
