France shut every high school in the country for a week on October 6 after two weeks of riots the government calls a school protest. The Interior Ministry counts about 6,100 arrests, most under 18.
The barricades carry Algerian and Palestinian flags, the suburbs police stopped patrolling after 2005 are the base, and the far left runs cover. On October 8 it crossed into Brussels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND
The riot started at a school gate, not a mosque. One short-staffed Paris-suburb lycee in September, 400 schools shut by October 2. Confirmed. The read here, from the flags on the barricades, the LFI organizers the government blames and Trump’s call, is that the grievance was the wrapper and the uprising was the content.
The dependency is a district the police gave up. Leaving the banlieues alone for twenty years built the base, the school was the hall. Closing every high school put two million teenagers outside, feeding the riot it was meant to stop. (Nobody in Paris thought that through.) Picture the chain on the school gate, locked from the inside.
The X is the belief that this takes a French-sized Muslim population, while your own city already has the district the police avoid, the school with the walkout group and the official who stands with the crowd.
