That's your operating system [phone or computer] asking for facial recognition so it can tie your credentials for sites to your face. It has nothing to do with us or Substack.
I get it. I don't want Apple, Google, Samsung, or any other company having my biometrics either, but I can assure you it is 100% your device and not Substack and certainly not SD. :)
